Address Immigration Process Delay Issue in Ireland
Introduction:
We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned about the significant delays in the processing of extension applications for Stamp 1G visas in Ireland. These delays are having a concrete and detrimental impact on individuals who are striving to contribute to the Irish workforce, as well as the companies that seek to employ them. We urge the responsible authorities to address this issue promptly to prevent visa validity issues and job opportunities from slipping away. An Appeal to request the validity from the date of Expiry rather than to approve from the date of sanctioning approval, which will result in Appropriate validity without loss of months in granted visa.
Example:- Application made in May End and received acknowledgement in June 15th while the current expiry was July 31st.
Received the approval for 6 months starting from June 15 until December 15th which was received in Mail on September 15th, which Ultimately states only 3 months after receiving the IRP Card.
Who is Affected?
The current delays in processing extension applications for Stamp 1G visas affect a diverse group of individuals, including international students who have graduated from Irish universities and non-European Economic Area (EEA) nationals seeking employment in Ireland. These individuals have pursued education and career opportunities in Ireland with the hope of contributing to the country's economy and cultural diversity. However, due to these processing delays, they are left in a state of uncertainty and face the real possibility of losing their jobs or being unable to apply for certain positions that require a minimum of 6 months of visa validity.
What is at Stake?
The stakes are high for both individuals and Irish businesses. If the current delays persist, it will mean that talented, skilled individuals will be forced to leave the country due to visa expiration. This loss of valuable human resources not only hampers personal aspirations but also hinders the growth and development of Irish companies. Many employers require a minimum of 6 months of visa validity as a criterion for hiring non-EEA nationals. Failure to meet this requirement not only jeopardizes job opportunities but also disrupts business operations, as companies may lose skilled workers they have invested in and trained.
Why is Now the Time to Act?
Immediate action is imperative to prevent further negative consequences. The delay in processing extension applications for Stamp 1G visas is causing unnecessary stress and uncertainty for affected individuals and businesses. To maintain Ireland's reputation as a welcoming and competitive destination for international talent, we must ensure a streamlined and efficient immigration process. Addressing this issue promptly will not only retain skilled individuals in the Irish workforce but also promote economic growth, diversity, and innovation.
In conclusion, we call upon the relevant authorities to take swift and decisive action to address the immigration process delay issue for Stamp 1G visa extensions. We believe that a more efficient and timely process will benefit everyone involved and contribute to the continued success and development of Ireland as a global hub for talent and innovation.
