I would like to demonstrate to Iarnród Éireann/ Irish Rail, Darragh O Brien TD Minister for Transport, local representatives and councillors that there is a real demand for greater level of train service on the Rosslare/Wexford - Dublin train service running from Grey and Arklow throughout the day and for a later into the evening.  We are all being asked to be more environmentally concious and to use cars less, and  with more and more housing being built which will have the N11 as the main artery to access Dublin there will be  much greater levels of traffic and more pollution. In addition I don't believe there is any other option of public transport for a wheelchair user which leaves wheelchair users completely dependant on other people to travel to other towns. I live in Arklow but I am confident there are many other people who live Wexford through to Wicklow town who feel the same. I feel a half hourly service throughout the day from Gorey with hourly from Wexford or at quieter times is not unreasonable and with more services there will be more users. With discussion of longterm capital spend projects bringing rail services to areas with no infrastructure why not increase the services where infrastructure already exists. I am sure that is possible, even on a single track where trains can pass each other at every station.Please sign to show your support and demonstrate demand.
