On June 29th of this year, I was involved in a car crash with two other vehicles. I was T-boned, which led to my car being flipped upside down, another being struck in the rear, and the third being without a front end.  All of this was due to an unprotected left turn onto a busy road. I wish I could say this has never happened on this road before, but many other people have had very similar experiences, if not worse. Every time I leave this neighborhood, I dread crossing the four-lane street because it can get stupidly busy, dangerous, and annoying. I'm sure many of you can agree that this intersection could really use a stoplight, considering many in my circle have expressed similar frustration. I am starting this petition to prevent further accidents and to keep our community safer. The more awareness we bring to this matter, the better chance we have of fixing this problem. I don't want any of you to go through the exact experience I went through; it was one of the most terrifying moments of my life, and I'm so grateful to be here to share my story. This neighborhood is home to many teenage drivers. By signing this petition, you can help make our roads safer for them and for everyone else.
