Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has spent the past 10 months slashing funding for life-saving research, pushing conspiracy theories, and putting public health at risk.

Now, Democrats in Congress are fighting back — and they need our support.

This week, Rep. Haley Stevens of Michigan introduced articles of impeachment against RFK Jr., citing the collapse of critical cancer trials and a surge in vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks. She’s joined by Rep. Shri Thanedar, who has filed separate articles of impeachment against Trump’s Defense Secretary. Both lawmakers are in fiercely contested Democratic primaries, and they’re taking real political risks to hold this administration accountable.

Their efforts are already drawing fire. Republican leadership will almost certainly block the impeachment resolutions, and political insiders are calling the move “symbolic.” But public support could shift the conversation — and show that voters want leaders who defend science, truth, and basic public safety.

RFK Jr. told the Senate during his confirmation that he wouldn’t undermine the vaccine system. But since then, he's done exactly that. Groups like Stand Up For Science have raised alarm about his conduct, and Michigan now reports one of the highest rates of measles in the country.

This isn’t just about one Cabinet secretary. It’s about whether we reward politicians who sit back quietly — or those who take a stand, even when it’s tough.

We call on Democratic leaders, voters, and grassroots supporters to publicly support impeachment efforts against RFK Jr. and to back lawmakers like Rep. Stevens and Rep. Thanedar who are defending public health and truth.
