From the bottom of my heart, I thank you and the thousands of pro-choice Americans like you who have paid tribute to Dr. George Tiller since his murder on Sunday.

In our own way, each of us is honoring Dr. Tiller’s legacy and his service to women. Whether you’ve sent a note of encouragement to Dr. Tiller’s staff, attended one of the 40-plus vigils in 24 states, or shared your thoughts with others about what this tragedy means for you -- whatever form your activism takes -- you’ve helped commemorate a hero for so many women.

As Dr. Tiller’s immediate family and friends celebrate his life and mourn their loss at a memorial service in Kansas this weekend, I hope you add your name to the online memorial at RememberTiller.com.
