The eastern side of Laycock Street, Cranebrook, directly opposite Baby Doll Bakery, currently has a No Stopping restriction along a strip of road that is clearly wide enough to accommodate roadside parking.

This lack of parking makes it unnecessarily difficult for locals and visitors to stop and support one of our community's favourite small businesses. Customers are forced to find parking elsewhere, often having to walk a significant distance, or simply drive past altogether.

We are asking Penrith City Council to review this restriction and convert the strip to designated roadside parking, in line with the existing parking already available just south of this point on Laycock Street.

Adding even a small number of extra parking spaces here would make a real difference to Baby Doll Bakery and the broader local community, at no significant cost or disruption to traffic flow.
