I am doing my homework again! I sent an update summarizing the current situation a couple of days ago which, according to Change.org could not be sent, and signings of this petition appear to have slowed down as a result, so here's a new summary:
The message has certainly been fragmented. There are currently Change.org petitions to the BBC calling for the sacking of Laura Kuenssberg (currently 3,270 signatures) a review of her position (currently 15,062 signatures) and two asking for Kuenssberg and Andrew Neil's sacking (on 16,084 and 1051). There is also one on 254 signatures asking 38 degrees to present evidence for their actions. All lower figures, and harder to find, than the prematurely closed petition.
The good news is that a petition on 38 degrees to the BBC to sack Kuenssberg now has 33,375 signatures, getting close to the original which was ended at 37,000 so please sign that one too, because if left alone, it would probably have reached a much higher figure, and the one on the government petitions site (below) calling for an end to government choosing BBC governors.
This, our own petition to 38 Degrees campaign manager Adam McNicholas currently stands at 4,604. I propose running it to the end of this week, to see if we can make 5,000. Please share it around one more time and see if we can find the last 400 or so people.
