Fans of DST and LOTR unite! This petition is aimed to show the folks at Ad Populum LLC there is still interest in this line.

Diamond Select's license for LOTR/The Hobbit has yielded great figures with amazing attention to detail. As a community we have shown our interest and that line had consistently done well in terms of sales - according to DST's own figures and statements.  

Not since the days of ToyBiz have we gotten a dedicated figure line for LOTR - and it looked like we were finally about to get one for The Hobbit too. 

Unfortunately, following the decision made by Ad Populum to shut DST down the future of the remaining pre-order figures left as well as the license itself is in doubt. I know all of us, fans and collectors, don't want our line to end like this. Some of us remember the fiasco of Bridge Direct years ago and I'm sure nobody wants a repeat of that.

Let's petition Ad Populum to renew the license and (hopefully) continue the DST style collection. We still have many preorders unreleased, we have the Gandalf the White and Azog figures - let's not throw all these on the evergrowing pile of never-released promo content due to bankruptcies.
