ActivisionBlizzard Player Base General Strike for Fair Monetization

The Issue

ActivisionBlizzard have become increasingly predatory and coercive with their monetization efforts. Their products cost more and more each year, their communications with the company are increasingly dishonest and composed of platitudes. In short, they do not respect their player base. They do not listen to their player base. They assume that we will tolerate being subjected to unchecked greed without significant response.

On December 1st, we propose to strike. All who sign this petition agree to log out of their battle.net accounts, regardless of which property they play, and to remain logged out until we are heard.

We are calling for responsible monetization that is, minimally, competitive. We are calling for fair play; we wish to be respected as consumers, and also as members of a community that has existed for decades—fans of ActivisionBlizzard (formerly Blizzard) products.

Sign our petition. Commit to working together as a community to make ourselves heard. On December 1st, 2020, be part of the effort to show billion-dollar corporation that we will not be taken advantage of.
