Shrek super slam is a beautifully complex fighting game. It's genre of fighting game is very unique in the regard of it being not only a 3D fighter, but with beat em up like qualities. In a time such as now with the corona virus running rampant. us Slammers need a fresh take. Currently, the only way to enjoy shrek super slam online with others is through illegal downloads of ISO's and ROM's plus netcodes. All that would need to be done, is a re-release of the game, (Preferably on the nintendo switch and ps4/5) with an online feature. some buffed up graphics, and maybe the extra characters from the GBA and DS ports would be cool too. But ultimately, keep the fundamental core gameplay that makes shrek super slam so much fun! some other fun new ideas could include:

1) A training mode to test out combos and set ups

2) some minor balance changes, (giving cyclops a crumpet dash, Nerfing little red riding hood's infinite, etc.) without over nerfing or over buffing any characters. keep the fundamental elements of the game.

3) a tutorial that teaches the players more advanced techniques and combos, like Marvel Vs Capcom 3 or Guilty Gear XRD.

4) Release it alongside shrek 5, and maybe add a character or 2 from it

5)  Make the soundtrack more epic. Songs like allstar would be a great inclusion!

You don't have to do any of those things, Activision. I, and many others, just want to experience this fantastic game in HD. I garuntee you, if you remaster this game, you will not only make a load of money, but also make gamers and shrek fans like me, very happy.
