20-man and 40-man raiding in World of Warcraft Classic has devolved to the point where the various "world buffs" completely dominate everything. It is a stressful and time consuming endeavor to gather all of these before a scheduled raid, not to mention the fact that once a player gathers these buffs, they have to "save" them by staying logged out. On top of that, the world buff meta has spawned griefers who go out of their way to remove other players' buffs. 

I haven't met a single player throughout my adventures in Azeroth who is positively excited about the world buff dominated raid meta. In fact, everyone I talk to about it tends to have a negative attitude towards them.

We have had this world-buff meta for many months now. The small handful of proponents of this meta had their time. I am now petitioning Activision Blizzard to implement a simple fix which would immediately alleviate the world buff stress for these last few months and change the WoW classic culture for the better. Please, please, please, have world buffs be deactivated or auto-removed on any player who enters a 20-man or a 40-man raid dungeon.

Alternatively: do it only on a few servers, and let people transfer for free.
