Free Jeffrey Davis - acknowledge his proof of innocence

The Issue

Jeffrey Davis has served 31 years after being wrongfully convicted of crimes in Tulsa, OK. He was given an extreme amount of time for these crimes and has fought the system unsuccessfully for these 31 years. He was given 250 years, five consecutive 50-year sentences. He has paroled on 2 of the 5 cases. His co-defendant was given less time and 3 of the cases were dropped on him in exchange for his plea and testimony. They used the co-defendants testimony against Jeffrey Davis even though it contradicts the victim's testimony that Jeffrey Davis was in the background and didn't say or do anything. The victims also claim there was only one shooter, and it was the co-defendant. Although Jeffrey Davis has evidence to prove his innocence the courts dismiss all of it without acknowledging the facts he presents. The co-defendant gave an affidavit stating he was coerced and threatened with the death penalty if he did not testify against and implicate Jeffrey Davis, even though he was not involved. The state of Oklahoma has admitted to destroying all of Jeffrey Davis's trial transcripts. This goes against their own laws. The transcripts were requested by Jeffery Davis several times, but the judge denied his requests. He was never given an appeal because his attorney never came back after his conviction. By Oklahoma Law the attorney must file an appeal or paperwork stating defendants do not want to appeal. He did neither of these. We have brought all this and more to the court's attention through Post Conviction Relief efforts. They have denied his right to be heard and have told him they are frivolous and barred him from further action in the courts unless he discovers new evidence.

Jeffrey Davis deserves for the truth to be heard and acknowledged by the courts. He deserves to be exonerated on all charges. Please help us by signing this petition and sharing it with everyone you can. No one should be held in prison, when there is proof of their innocence, solely on legal technicalities of the courts. Acknowledge the facts of the case.

We thank you and all our family are grateful for your time, help, and love shown towards Jeffrey Davis.
