We as a student of Acero Cruz want to come together to start up our basketball season. This is something we’ve been looking forward to playing since last year.This situation that we are affects us in many ways mentally and physically. We as students and athletes don’t have an actual physical activity that we look forward to having. This is why I´m advocating on the behalf of the student and athlete to have this season,this would really help us get started up on our season. Sport let us express ourselves in many way and bring out a lot of competitive energy in everyone. This being my last year and other students too we really want this year to be special to us as students and also the school.This opportunity does not come everyday as a Seniors in our school whose graduating this year who we are viewed as the soul and leaders in our school, role models who other student from the lower class look up to it would be extremely disappointing not to have one more year with them before we are off to the next chapter of their lives next year. Nonetheless in my opinion this would allow us  to be preoccupied in a positive way  instead of sitting at home watching tv playing video games 24/7,bored and nothing to do at all.In addition parents would benefit from this as I explained in the previous sentence this make sure that as kids we are getting the right amount of physical activity needed for us a kids. We as students came together wanting to be able to make a change and not sit back and let our season go by without doing anything or even try to do something about it so we’re hoping we can convince our school board,school network  and district to have a basketball season as soon as possible and just not only us but the other Acero Schools who also wants to have a season just like us.
