          It's with a heavy heart that I share the harrowing experience of our beloved family member, Mark Anthony Plambeck II. Mark, a joyous and kind-hearted person, was unjustly shot in the back by the mother of his girlfriend. His life was cut tragically short when he was murdered by a mother who disagreed with a longstanding relationship involving her daughter and Mark. This heart-wrenching event took place in Steger, Illinois, a community filled with love and compassion, yet now overshadowed by the cloud of injustice.

Mark is not just a victim; he is a beloved son, a proud father, and a dear friend to many. His laughter was infectious, his heart generous, and his presence always lit up a room. Yet, today we find ourselves fighting for his voice to be heard, for his story to be known, and for justice to be rightfully served.

In an astonishing twist of events, the accused was initially released by the police, having claimed ignorance of Mark's identity—a blatant mistruth. The authorities have now taken notice, the mayor along police actively investigating the case. However, our family, shaken and desperate, fears that without public support, justice might be delayed or denied.

Imagine the pain of Mark's daughter growing up without her father's love—the insecurity of Mark's parents, knowing there’s a possibility that the person responsible for our son's homicide might escape the appropriate consequences. We cannot allow this gross injustice to dim the light of an amazing soul like Mark's.

We have taken to streets, rallying for justice through protests and walks, making our voices echo throughout  from downtown Chicago to Steger. Yet, the struggle remains arduous, and we find ourselves needing a broader platform for our cries for justice.

We urge you, the public, to support us in our quest for justice for Mark Plambeck II.
