Efrain Casado, born in America and Hispanic, was sentenced to life in prison for selling cocaine in Miami, FL as a young adult in the 90’s. He’s been studying in prison for more than 25 years trying to help his own case with no lawyer and the problem is, he found several mistakes that were made during his trial as well, in which he was not involved in some cases, and laws that have been changed regarding his charges have not been considered. This petition can help him get an appeal/lower his sentence, which he has been working really hard for. For years, the district court has delayed his appeal or denied it.
