As a local resident and manager of a much-needed new store in Chubbuck Idaho.  I am creating this petition because the resulting confusion and frustration from the median and pole barricade is undeniable. Our business not only serves the local community but also attracts patrons from diverse locations, proving its importance and relevance.

Despite this position in the community, the City of Chubbuck has positioned a barricade in front of our store, ostracizing our customers, vendors, and new visitors from entering the front. Every day, this action is costing the store substantial revenue loss. As we plan to introduce a groundbreaking drive-thru, a service new in the area and much required, the financial impact is projected to extend significantly due to the ongoing confusion about entering and leaving the location.

The outcry resulting from this situation is palpable. We have daily interactions with customers expressing their frustration and disappointment at the city's lack of support for such a thriving business. Furthermore, local business owners, bank managers, and CEOs are also encouraging us to challenge this and have, in no uncertain terms, stated their support. It is time for the City of Chubbuck to reconsider their stance and realize the negative impacts of their actions on the community and local businesses.
