Why should hard-working Brits fund these lavish lifestyles?

Consider the scandal surrounding Prince Andrew, a man entrenched in controversy and disgrace, who still reaps the benefits provided by the monarchy's coffers. This is unjustifiable and signifies a system that rewards by accident of birth rather than merit or service to the nation.

Imagine a Britain where leadership is determined by popular vote and a true meritocracy flourishes—an elected government that represents the will and diversity of its people, not by the happenstance of aristocratic lineage.

It is time for Britain to move towards a republic where opportunities rise not from heritage, but from capability and vision. Where the money currently funneled into preserving a ceremonial institution could be redirected towards addressing critical social needs and improving public services.
