Abolish requirement for women to select from "Mrs", "Miss" or "Ms" on official forms

The issue

Official forms retain the archaic requirement for women to select from "Mrs", "Miss" or "Ms" on official forms, while men do not.

"Mrs" indicates that the woman is married and "Miss" indicates that she is not. These options should not apply to women and not men.

This is a discriminatory practice and should have been abolished decades ago yet somehow it remains.

"Ms" could be retained as an option but "Miss" and "Mrs" should be removed.
