Abolish Indigo Parking at Club 16

Abolish Indigo Parking at Club 16
The Issue
Myself, and many other gym-goers in Maple Ridge, are continually frustrated by the unnecessary and overzealous ticketing practices of Indigo Parking at Club 16. Despite paying our gym fees, we additionally find ourselves plagued by parking worries. It seems that even responsible adherence to regulations, such as correctly entering our license plates and staying within assigned time limits, is not enough to avoid irritating and costly tickets.
This matter is not a minor inconvenience, but a serious detriment to our workout routine, and it has prompted me to call for change. We've all experienced how busy the gym can be, and sometimes, two hours isn't enough time to finish a productive workout. We shouldn't be penalized for trying to live healthy lifestyles.
Indigo's system appears to be flawed as it continues to issue tickets even in instances where its own rules have been abided by. Such practices are unjust, creating unwarranted stress among club members. For example, I had a friend who punched in their plate and got an error code. He took a screenshot of it just in case he got a ticket to dispute it. He went out to his car to find a ticket on his dash and tried talking to the indigo representative and show him proof that he had tried punching it in, but the indigo representative said he couldn’t do anything about it as the ticket has already been issued. these kind of instances are extremely frustrating and is the reason why we need to take action as soon as we can so we don’t have to keep dealing with these kind of situations with a company like indigo who lack true customer service.
As paying members of Club 16, we contribute to the success of our local gym business. We deserve to utilize the facilities that we pay for without the fear of being unfairly ticketed. It is time for Indigo Parking to revisit their ticketing practices at this location.
