The fact that it costs up to almost £7 for a single batch of laundry is a disgrace– we even have to bring our own detergent!

We are paying unbelievable fees in a cost-of-living crisis and have already saved UCL Accommodation money by not having our own individual washing machines, reducing water usage.

The Cheese Grater magazine reported that UCL accommodation earned a £13 million surplus in 2024. It's time that money is reinvested into our living experience and not just our cell-sized rooms or aeroplane bathrooms. 

Say NO to Circuit's predatory practices and sign this petition to push for free washing machine use and show that university students are not easily exploited.
