The show was canceled because there's no Castle Without Beckett. But many actors like Nathan Fillion,Seamus Dever, and Jon Huertas already sign a contract for a season 9. The ending for Castle only gave us a snippet of Castle and Beckett life in the future. It doesn't say anything about the rest of the main characters of the show. Many fans who found out a the last movement were very disappointed. Many fans were watching the show for Castle and Beckett relationship. But some people watched the show for the friendship and brotherhood of Kevin and Javier. The show could start off with Beckett being shot caused her to retire early because of her health. So the boys would now have their own adventures without Kate,(Stana Katic could guest starred 2 episode per season) but still have Castle. We all know Castle would still bother the boys. Al I really want is a ending for all main characters, not just Castle and Beckett.
