Reports have come in that actor Wes Ramsey is leaving ABC's General Hospital. It's very clear to the fans that the actor has been let go due to his character of Peter August being supposedly dead. But they an overwhelming amount of fans who wanted the character gone and thus wanting the actor gone. 

Not only the hateful and spiteful fans but apparently the writers clearly wanted to paint Wes's character into the corner so much so that he was unredeemable. They've spent 1 year putting Wes into the backburner and the last 2 years reversing him back and slowly making his character hit rock bottom and went completely insane. Wes doesn't appear to be menacing and therefor made the fans like him even less so much so that that powers that be decided to release him from his contract and let him go.  

Fans have said many times that Wes only got this role because his real life girlfriend Laura Wright who plays Carly Corinthos a lead role on the show. That is completely false and no truth to that at all. He got this role on his own merit based on his 20 years of acting on numerous TV shows and movies. I'm petitioning for Wes Ramsey to stay on GH, whether it's his current role of Peter August or as a new character. I'm hoping to get as many signatures as I can!! Thank you!!
