Bring Back Britt Stewart, the First Female Black Pro Dancer on DWTS for DWTS Season 29!

Bring Back Britt Stewart, the First Female Black Pro Dancer on DWTS for DWTS Season 29!
Britt Benae Stewart was part of the long running series ‘Dancing with the Stars’ since the show had begun, all the way back in 2005. Britt was their first and only female black professional dancer. For approximately eleven years, she was in the background until she was given an opportunity to join the troupe in 2016, which is not around anymore. For another three years, two DWTS live tours and five seasons, she would be sidelined until the abrupt disbandment of the troupe dancers in season twenty-eight.
Aside from her job at DWTS, Britt has been a professional dancer for fifteen plus years. Some of her many credentials are as follows: principle dancer in all three High School Musical films, danced for Janet Jackson, Rihanna, the Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry (performed for three years during the Prismatic World Tour & danced at the Super Bowl halftime show) and Demi Lovato, was featured as a dancer in Teen Beach Movie, La La Land and No Strings Attached.
Britt has worked alongside famous choreographers Kenny Ortega, Chase Benz, Will Loftis to name a few as an Associate Choreographer. Just recently, she became a lead Choreographer. From the series finale of How to Get Away with Murder, Regent Cruise Line featured shows on their new ship called the Splendor, to the 2020 Dancing with the Stars Live Tour, Britt has been on top of her game.
Britt teaches Latin Ballroom, Latin Jazz and Jazz to every age throughout the country. As of now, she is teaching Ballroom for Studio School, which is a Los Angeles career college where professional dancers can receive a degree in commercial dance. Additionally, Britt is on faculty for the dance conventions Transcend Tour, Fluid Dance and Titans of Dance. In May 2020, she launched an online virtual class called Dance Space with Dancing with the Stars professional dancer Alan Bersten.
Furthermore, Britt has such a big heart and loves to interact with her fans. Britt deserves a chance to showcase her amazing talent on one of the biggest platforms for dance.
ABC, we are calling for you to bring her back for season twenty-nine. Make her a professional. Give her celebrity partners. Even though Black Lives Matter is trending currently, do not hire Britt Stewart back for the diversity check box. She is more than that. If you do bring her back, pay her equally. Give her and other BIPOC like your black pro Keo Motsepe the platform they deserve.
