A Voice for Lenny: Keep Inmate Wood in Prison

The Issue

JUNE, 2013.  Aubrey Wood was convicted in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City in September, 2000 of murdering 22-year old Leonard "Lenny" Kling Jr. during a robbery. Wood received a lenient 22-year sentence for what was a planned execution.  After serving only 12 years of this sentence, the Maryland Division of Corrections granted him parole.  He was to be released in August 2013.   However, in June 2013, he committed an infraction while in prison (possessing illegal inmate currency) so the parole decision is currently suspended.  The Maryland Parole Commission will reconsider his case in the next few months.  Please sign this petition and let the Maryland Parole Commission know what you think about paroling this inmate back into our community.  I have reopened this petition so that we can continue to collect signatures.
