At issue is a simple budget allocation for the federal government. At brief glance the money would seem to come from the Department of Defense, of which the President, acting or prior, is or was a commander in chief. 
This petition is simple but time critical. If adopted, this petition would set aside reasonable, verified to current inflation budgetary concerns, funds for the state funeral of President Donald Trump. 
In lieu of these funds being used for a funeral for President Trump, these funds would be used to provide a full national state funeral for Dolly Parton, deceased as of August 25, 2026.

In the event that Ms Parton’s estate should decline these honors (and therefore this stated sum of money that the federal government would otherwise spend on President Trump’s eventual funeral), the entirety of the sum should be donated to Ms Parton’s ongoing, and wholly laudable, Imagination Library program, which has been providing American children for decades with their first steps in becoming good citizens: functional literacy.
