The increased train patronage whilst commendable has had the unintended consequence of causing severe traffic and parking disorder in the Mooroolbark CBD. The traffic flow and parking availability is such that it is causing an economic impact on the shop keepers and shoppers travelling elsewhere to obtain just everyday items. For a small township traffic flow at times is a ridiculous crawl and having a big economic effect and giving Mooroolbark a big bypass.
