Our school is fortunate to have multiple science laboratories, each equipped with scientific equipment and a well-designed structure. However, despite this advantage, there is a pressing issue that may compromise the condition and functionality of these laboratories.

During a recent activity, our group encountered significant difficulties in locating specific equipment, which forced us to search multiple laboratories. Although we eventually found the equipment, this experience highlighted the need for better organization and inventory management in our laboratories.

Furthermore, I noticed that some areas of the laboratories were dusty and not well-maintained, particularly in isolated areas. Additionally, the rule requiring adult supervision during laboratory activities can sometimes hinder our progress and efficiency.

In light of these concerns, this petition urges the school administration and the science department to take immediate action in the following areas:

1. Inventory management: Regularly cataloging and organizing equipment to ensure that everything is easily accessible and accounted for.
2. Laboratory maintenance: Regular cleaning and maintenance of laboratory facilities to prevent dust buildup and ensure a safe working environment.
3. Supervision guidelines: Reviewing the adult supervision policy to strike a balance between safety and allowing students to work efficiently.

By addressing these issues, we can ensure that our science laboratories remain a valuable resource for students, providing a safe and effective environment for hands-on learning and experimentation.
