I agree emergency services personnel put their own lives at risk to work on or adjacent to our roads every day. They do an incredible job to protect lives and properties in the Shoalhaven. I support these calls to improve the safety of emergency services personnel by requiring the motoring public to slow down to 40kph and maintain a minimum safety buffer when travelling past emergency services vehicles and personnel and have written to the Minister to show Council's support for introduction of new legislation.
