Bloomfield High School's girls soccer team respectfully requests the consideration of appointing a new coach. Despite the current coach's efforts, we believe a change is necessary for the following reasons.

 Concerns have been raised by players, parents, and community members about the coaches' inability to treat players fairly and consistently. Many players have reported that the coach consistently favors certain athletes, providing them with more playing time, better positions, and more attention during practices and games regardless of effort or skill level. Talented players who do not fall within the coach's favored circle are often overlooked, limiting their opportunities to improve or showcase their skills. This has hindered team growth, as many players feel demotivated and undervalued. These actions by the coach have caused many players to leave the sport they loved and enjoyed.

The coach frequently has poor communication with parents and players outside his favored group. Instead, some players receive disproportionate criticism without guidance on how to improve, creating an environment where many feel unsupported and discouraged. The coach's behavior has contributed to a toxic team atmosphere, where many players feel their hard work goes unrecognized. This has impacted team spirit and has led to frustration and disengagement among players.

Our goal is to ensure that the Bloomfield girl's soccer team is led by a coach who promotes fairness, respect, and equal opportunities for all athletes. We believe that having a coach who values every player will lead to a more connected, motivated, and successful team. 

By signing this petition, we respectfully request that Bloomfield high schools administration and athletic department take immediate action to replace Jonathan Aliaga with a coach committed to creating a positive, fair, and supportive environment for all players.
