During the past times until today there are still people who are disrespecting and discriminate other people due to their genders. The main cause of this is women's ignorance of their rights and limitations on achieving equality. The prevalent cultural and social conventions, which state that women should be obedient to men, are frequently to blame for this lack of awareness. Which should not be true as women are still humans. Gender Inequality is something that affects not only to the adults but to children and PWD. 

Some effects:
-From an early age, gender norms have an impact on children's self-esteem.
- Stereotypes about gender have an impact on behavior, academic preferences, aspirations, and relationship attitudes.
- Women complete tertiary education at a higher rate than men, but their graduate wages are lower.
- Women retire with half the pension savings of men.
- Many employers do not offer extended parental leave or flexible working hours for men.
- Transgender individuals may feel compelled to hide their gender identity at school or at work when using services.

     Although there is a process, there are still some who look down on others because of their gender, making the victims feel insecure and may be the reason why they could not move forward.
     
     We thus want to prevent discrimination to all genders and promote giving equal opportunities to all genders. We also aim to bring awareness to all and know the advantages of having gender equality and the effects if gender equality is not implemented.

Some effects if gender equality is implemented:

- reduce violence
- provides security for vulnerable people
- gives everyone equal opportunities
- reduce discrimination

Discrimination that regularly favors or prioritizes one sex or gender over the other on the grounds of sex or gender Gender-based discrimination infringes on the fundamental human right to gender equality.
