Como railway station is under-serviced during peak and off-peak times in both directions when compared to neighbouring stations. Late-running trains often alter their stopping pattern, bypassing Como to make up time, yet sit idle for extended periods and the ends of the line. It only takes one additional minute for a train to stop at Como.

Como station services locals from a wide geographical area including the suburbs of Como, West Como, Bonnet Bay, Oyster Bay and parts of Jannali.

Residents from these areas using Como station experience less flexibility with travel; additional journey and waiting times; the need to drive and park at Sutherland or Jannali; and inconvenience due to bypassing the scheduled stop.

We are calling on the NSW state government to give us a fair go in Como. 

1. Amend the T4 timetable to increase the frequency of trains stopping at Como to the equivalent of adjacent stations.

2. Remove the potential need to bypass Como by reducing the train turnaround times at the ends of the T4 line.
