More than 8000 United States veterans commit suicide yearly as a result of PTSD and TBI's. Dogs of War, through Paws and Stripes, is shining MUCH NEEDED light on the struggles our veterans go through upon returning home.  Paws and Stripes is one of many organizations that save shelter and rescue dogs to be trained as service dogs for these veterans or adopted out.  This cause not only SAVES the lives of dogs and veterans but it saves FAMILIES and COMMUNITIES. Just ask anyone who has been afforded the opportunity to be a service dog recipient.  This show NEEDS to be seen so that people are aware of this issue.  The response of those watching the show has been TREMENDOUS!  Hundreds of e-mails pour in from people all over the country thanking Paws and Stripes for helping them have a conversation with their families or telling their own personal story of triumph over PTSD and TBI with their dogs or even begin to seek help themselves.

It is not enough to post on Facebook on Veterans Day once a year. We ask our veterans to potentially give their lives in service to US.  How can we turn our backs on them now?  This petition is to IMPLORE A&E to give this show the support it needs! Insinging this petition I am hoping A & E will give their full backing to this incredible show!
