Lately, accusations of fraud were formed by Elon Musk against the National Endowment for Democracy.

It consisted in depicting programs that were indeed funded by the nonprofit, but misrpresented their role or insited that much of the funding was directed toward woke programs leading to the whole part of the budget being suppressed in a defund the policr style. This was confirmed by the director of Damon Wilson (on how the nonprofit work).

Other accusations was the call that it funded large organization outlets such as Politico whereas it was acting as their client for some special anaylsis products.

More generally while the need for the funding of such program can be questionned by the american public, a quick listening  tour on the International short wave radios bands demonstrate that kind of program isn t alone including programs from United States long time adversaries (though of course with such latest development this can be questionned).

Not cutting funding for medias that weren t bought in Russia or Hungary by oligarchs and protecting the right of labour unions in China is a very important thing to prevent peoples becoming vatnik in a this kind of fashion. The nuclear deterence of Europe now depend only on the elections of France and the United Kingdom.
