Science and Technology is a big factor affecting the lives of Filipinos and a key element in the advancement of the country. Nonetheless, Philippines has failed to put Science and Technology as a center piece of strategy which then became the hindrance to become a progressive country. Philippines is proven to have made remarkable progress in the field of Science and Technology in recent years. However, problems are marked and have constantly been aggravating lives of masses. 

The cruel reality was known to cause adversity amongst our countrymen as the daily life of an average Filipino as they have no access to technology for assistance. Students walking a kilometer worth just to learn, farmers struggles to harvest crops within a specific time frame, change arrive in this generation to put an end to the struggles of Filipinos. Most of the crises we face (Poverty, Educational and Transportation Crisis, Climate Change, Food Insecurity, Unproductive Agriculture). 

Behind these crisis, we continue to ignore of how government neglects its investments in the field of Science and Technology, this forbids the development of our nation and put the lives of many at risk. Lack of funding and support is what hindered our country to develop in the field of Science and Technology. 

Problems:

• Lack of funding for Research and Development
• Lack of Basic Industries
• Lack of programs for Agriculture
• Lack of School Infrastructure
• Poor Government response to Environmental Crises

COMPREHENSIVE PROPSOSAL:

• BUILDING MORE INFRASTRUCTURES - building more infrastructures like National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Building in UP Diliman. This will be a good program in developing Science and Technology in our country as it enhance mobility and connectivity.
• GAIN MORE EXPERIENCE FROM PROGRESSIVE COUNTRIES -  As we associate to countries such as Japan, South Korea, Russia. We engage more in advancing our Technology.
• PRESENT FILIPINO SCIENTIST AND INVESTORS - As we present our local Scientist, they will be recognized and can influence the young. We must also implement programs that can encourage Filipino Researchers and Scientist for them to increase research visibility and impact.
