Boracay was a virgin island surrounded by turquoise oceans and covered in fine and white sand before contemporary buildings, huge events, and crowds of tourists overtook the place.  Save Our Boracay intends to establish many online resources to help raise awareness of the situation among those engaged, to improve the island's restoration.

Our Save Our Boracay team works to educate people, tourists, and even the government about what is happening on the island, particularly about environmental issues. This campaign focuses on continuing the rehabilitation of the island (which former President Duterte did not complete in 6 months until today), stopping the contract signing for the construction of a casino on the island, and finding ways to support and benefit the inhabitants in this development.

To assist us to achieve our goals, our team intends to start a petition on Change.org or a Facebook page/website and will also produce infographics and other materials linked to the rehabilitation of Boracay Island. The goal of our initiative is to attract the attention of the local administration, residents, and even tourists.

This will take weeks, if not years, to properly develop the goal of our project and we will require donations and finances to meet the project's requirements and purchase materials.
