Since taking on the Federal Labor leadership, Anthony Albanese has shown that he is not up to the task of effective opposition.

In key votes in parliament and in a number of public statements he has been too willing to stand with this regressive Morrison government. In so doing, he has betrayed Labor values and disenfranchised Labor members and supporters.

For the sake of the broader Labor movement and for the future of this country, Albanese must stand aside as leader and give this job to someone prepared to take the fight up to the LNP.
