7 Crescent Elevator Outage

7 Crescent Elevator Outage
The Issue
For the last three months, all families residing in 7 Crescent Place which includes families, seniors, and school-going children have faced a recurring nightmare - a relentless elevator outage every single weekend. Our vulnerable family members are facing immensely stressful situations, with people getting stuck in these elevators throughout due to the poor management of Pinedale Properties. This violates the Ontario Building Code, which guarantees reliable access to building services (Source: ServiceOntario).
Neglected maintenance and lackadaisical oversight have led to this dangerous situation, jeopardizing the safety of those who rely on these services the most. The elderly and small children are disproportionately affected, emphasizing the vital need for immediate and sweeping action. The distressing frequency of these interruptions in service is not only frustrating but places undue burden on our community members.
It’s high time that our building management takes responsibility. We must demand an end to these persistent problems, implementing regular and meticulous maintenance. We plead with the officials of Ontario to oversee this matter and ensure that the building management is held accountable.
We need your support to make sure this issue is acknowledged and given the due attention it warrants. Help us restore safety and peace of mind in our building for our senior parents, and little toddlers. Please sign this petition and join us in calling for regular maintenance for the faulty elevators in Ontario.
