After discussing with a large number of fellow students in this course, we have decided to make this petition to request ECE 330, with Professor Michael Wasef, be changed to a Pass/Fail Grade Basis. 

Reasons

• Class examples and homework assignments are incredibly hard to understand due the unclear instructions and lack of material being taught.
• Homework assignments, in-class examples, quizzes and even exams are especially hard to follow due to numerous grammatical and spelling errors, as well as incorrect information.
• Professor Wasef's knowledge of the material is not being translated to foster each students' understanding of any concepts. Furthermore, homework assignments have been difficult to complete with the given class material. As a result, a majority of students have been forced to utilize extensive use of external resources to learn the material's concepts.
• Lecture materials are posted on canvas, although these powerpoints would only contain half of the information taught in class. If you missed class, due to sickness or any reason, you would miss half the information. One student went out of his way to record class sessions from his own device, so that students who had to miss class could get the information they missed. The professor then continued to depend on this one student to continue recording class, instead of taking an initiative to record his own lecture for these sick students.
