Sora was surrendered under extreme duress during an emergency where she fractured her leg when her big doggie sister fell on her. My family did not have the funds at that time of day and wasn't sure if we could pull together enough money urgently to save Sora's leg with surgery. The other option, to amputate, was not an option at the point, we didn't want Sora to lose her leg because we couldn't afford the best treatment for her!

We are petitioning to the rescue, 4 Luv of Dog Rescue, to let us pay them back for the AMPUTATION they paid for, as they didn't do surgery and refuse to communicate with my family, and bring Sora home! We do not know if amputation was the only course of action, but are heartbroken that it is what she had to go through when she was surrendered to prevent that.
