I bought NBA 2k22 on Xbox Series S three weeks ago. When I logged onto the game, I was unable to connect to the game's servers. The Error code 4B538E50 would prompt everytime.

I contacted 2k Support for a fix. We still have an open email thread to this day with various fixes they have sent over to me. None of the fixes 2K support has sent me has worked. Beyond that, their fixes are the kinds of things you would see on a YouTube video by a 14 year old kid. Some examples of fixes 2k Support sent me include:

Enter play now mode and sit on the screen for an hour

Watch the credits for 30 minutes

Remove friends if friends list exceeds 100 people

The solutions are comical, and in no way helped connect me to the game. I am continuing the conversation with 2k support so that maybe they will sit back and realize how ridiculous this error code is. But you only have to look back on their companies' history to see that they will never care. This error code has been in every single NBA 2k game since 2018/

In order to get 2k Interactive to realize how ridiculous this issue has become, I need your help. We need to boycott 2k until this is fixed. It is only a matter of time before you yourself purchase this game only to be in my shoes.
