So a few things have happened since I have created this petition, and I have not updated it being so busy.
God is answering prayer for families and the disabled, I believe.
I talked to a representative at NAMI, and they told me that since November 2023 when ERs were reporting parents to CPS , they have changed the reporting guidelines.
Also, there were some bills introduced today and a heartfelt message went out stressing the urgent need for 24 hour care for the severely disabled and how we need to pass HF4568
If you get a chance, please watch the video towards the end they are introducing this bill and they have a couple of very touching testimonies. We need a lot of people to support this bill.
Write a letter to Representative Bianca Vernig.
This is what I was praying what happen with my petition so I’m glad to see that it is being addressed. It was just a matter of time. I’m sure they were already addressing this. It’s been a long time coming.
Another thing is that Matthew has lost quite a bit of weight and he seems to be pretty happy besides every weekend his is Very sad and perseveres when he has to go back to the DHS Home.
He called me today and they said he can’t stop talking about going to Aunties. �
I am facing some hurdles right now in getting him home and I could probably do it very quickly, but I have to be very smart about it and make sure that those who would like to see Matthew NOT come home would not be successful. They are still trying to control and are going to give me a hard time when I bring him home.
The supervisor of waivered services at Hennepin County has told me that if I don’t follow protocols for the CPS, then they will get involved again. Last I remember I didn’t have a case plan and I have full custody of my son so we are still not free and we won’t be for a while despite all the trauma that they caused already to an innocent family.
Just ridiculous and really sad for my son as they continue to sexualize him and make him out to be someone he is not.
