Christopher Cross Griffin is an abomination to television, an affront to comedy, an unfunny, static, single-dimensional character with no redeeming qualities and no more useful application than an occasional throwaway gag. The character is repugnant and loathsome in every way imaginable and quite literally sucks the funny out of any and every scene into which he is so haphazardly and lazily written. Chris episodes of Family Guy are lackluster and devoid of any serious character development, and on the whole through the run of the series thus far we have yet to see any true character arcs take place. While, granted, every other character who has undergone a major metamorphosis on the show has done so for the worst, Chris Griffin has remained consistently, disappointingly and painfully unfunny. Please kill him off for good.
