Fans have been waiting for years for 20th Century Fox to make a sequel with the original trilogy cast members from the "X-Men" film series, including Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Sir Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, James Marsden, Rebecca Romijn, Shawn Ashmore, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Daniel Cudmore, Kelsey Grammer and others.  While all of the actors mentioned except Rebecca Romijn appeared in the 2014 film "X-Men: Days of Future Past", most were featured in the apocalyptic future sequences and a majority appeared in the final minutes of the movie.  Since "Days of Future Past" was released in theaters, several of the original trilogy actors have said they'd love to return for another "X-Men" sequel, such as Anna Paquin, Kelsey Grammer, Famke Janssen and James Marsden.  We, the fans, hope that 20th Century Fox will make a new sequel featuring the original trilogy cast to be released in 2018 at the earliest.  It would be a shame if the last appearance for actors from the original "X-Men" films would be the few seconds worth of screen time they had in the finale of "X-Men: Days of Future Past".
