We all don't dispute the fact that the pandemic have changed many things in as far as the pandemic is concerned.

Everyone who's a mentor applied because they love to help students, we all agree to the e-learning because we understand the circumstances behind it. However, we nerd the CAE to understand us too, that we are students before being mentors and we still need to keep the requirements of 65 average for continuing with the program next year. 

We thank the program for considering the data issue and solving it. But have the leaders thought of the data our mentees use to attend sessions when they sat down to choose these methods of Google meet for sessions?

Everyone has Whatsapp. Vodacom and MTN to mention the few do give Whatsapp data only which is convenient for all of us, why introduce a method that need more data for mentees of there's another one working? PLEASE CONSIDER THAT.

We pledge as mentors that we continue our sessions in this manner and we agree to provide proof that we indeed conduct sessions in a form of screenshots just the way we do currently. But as for the Google meet or Zoom methods, have mercy we are all stranded (mentors and mentees).

Let the senior mentors and everyone relevant be part of the sessions by being members of the Whatsapp group for observations. Then the problem will be solved.

We look forward to your positive response by Friday (preferably by Wednesday) on this regard. Then we will have less frastrations and a happy session conductings.
