Hi 1L and 2L friends, 

I hope this petition finds you all happy, healthy, and ready to kick booty for finals. While looking at the class selections, I noticed there is a major lack of classes that address women's issues. I sent an email suggesting the creation of a Women in Law elective that would cover topics such as the 19th Amendment, abortion rights, domestic violence, and other obscure laws that are discriminatory towards over half of the US population. In this quest, I have been tasked with finding 10-15 people "who will commit to taking the new class (or at least promise to prioritize taking the new class) when it is offered." (per administration) If approved, this class would likely be taught in the Spring of 2022.
