To the President and Members of the Legislative Council of the Parliament of Western Australia in Parliament assembled. We the undersigned request that Basil Zempalis use his office of Premier in 2025, to normalise the speed limit from Safety Bay Road to Bussleton, via the Forrest Highway, Bunbury Bypass(Wilman Wadandi) and Bussel Highway, to the speed limit of 130km/hr. The Northern Territory and most of the world, uses 130km/hr or 80miles/hr, as the standard maximum. Google maps shows travelling to Busselton on the new Bunbury bypass is actually 1 minute slower when there is none to light traffic in Bunbury. This can be fixed with a speed limit of 130km/hr and make the $1.46bil price tag not go to waste.
