URGENT HELP ME GET MY DOG OF 10 YEARS BACK. help me sign this!!
The Issue
- On July 9th my world turned upside down. We have had 2 dogs for over 10 years. A dog named princess and her brother lucky. They have always been at my parents house but they started having accidents and it was becoming a lot for my mom to watch them both and she watches my almost 3 yr old. She asked that the dogs leave. I offered to bring the dogs to my apartment as I have been attached to both of them for 10 years. These dogs have a deep sentimental value/ meaning to me and my family. Through some of the hardest moments/ times my dogs have been my support. We made a mistake, a mistake I can't live with and it's consuming me daily. We gave 1 dog away. Princess. 10 yrs and the minute I let that leash go my heart sank. I watched her leave with two strangers from a craigslist post. A week later I tried getting my dog back. I tried to talk to the woman who I gave my beloved dog too and tried explaining that we made a huge mistake. I'm currently pregnant and at high risk. The emotions I have been going through, and the loss of my dog have been too much for me. We asked the woman back for the dog that she only had for 1 week and she called the cops and made up a story that I stole my dog . We had met at a public park asked for the dog back and her husband said to take the dog back. He verbally stated take the dog back it's just a dog were his words. I'm not sure why this woman didn't try to understand that we made the worst mistake of our lives. We were going to offer them a new puppy for her 9 yr old but the woman decided to frame me and blast me over social media, posting my name , my number and saying I stole the dog. My dog. My dog of 10 years. My princess that her husband verbally said take back and leave enjoy, I am begging everyone to help me sign this petition. That dog is like my child and I'm struggling mentally and emotionally with this. The pain kills me. I miss seeing my dog everyday. I miss her with all my heart. I miss my little princess and not only do I miss her but my family too. This dog has been ours for a decade. We have watched her get sick. We have had this dog since she was 2 months old, We watched her have puppies last year, we have loved this dog so much. she's the sweetest dog ever. Hence why this woman doesn't want to return her and because there is now a child who also wants my dog . Her child . Again it's only been a few weeks . They will never understand what 10 years is. They don't know the feeling I feel everyday I wake up knowing my dog is alive and with someone else. I got framed for theft for taking my dog back a few hours because they both lied. Please We all make mistakes and this is something I am struggling with I just want my dog back, I kno I betrayed her giving her to two people who are complete strangers but I'll never forgive myself for this. This was never supposed to happen that dog was never supposed to leave us. As a mom, as a friend, as a woman who is currently expecting her 2nd child. Please help me sign this petition to get my baby back. If you both read this you are heartless for keeping my dog with you eventhough that child has fallen in love with her. The love we all have for princess is 10× what you feel. You can't compare 10 years to a few weeks with my dog. Give her back. Please. Lady give her back she doesn't belong there. Help me reunite with princess. My brothers, myself and family miss this dog. Her brother lucky misses her so much. Help us reunite with my dog. If anyone knows the lady she's in wellington and she stated I took MY DOG from a public park at centennial a week or so ago. I'll continue to fight for her . I love you princess and I'm sorry we let you go girl not a day goes by that I don't think of you and the memories we have my sweet baby. I'm sorry I love you.
