Stop the $30 Million Taxpayer-Funded Grocery Store in NYC that Threatens Local Businesses

 

New York City plans to spend $30 million of taxpayer money on a government-run grocery store.

 

And they want to put it right next to an existing family-owned grocery store.

 

This is not helping communities. 

This is putting small businesses at risk.

 

Family-owned stores are already dealing with rising costs, theft, and thin margins. Now they are expected to compete with a taxpayer-funded operation that does not play by the same rules.

 

This could force local businesses to close, cost jobs, and hurt the very neighborhoods this plan claims to help.

We should be supporting small businesses, not replacing them.

 

We demand the city stop this plan and protect local, family-owned grocery stores before it is too late.
