In a democracy, every vote is counted. What’s more basic, more foundational, and more American than that?

This election cycle, people were assured that voting by mail was safe, their votes would be counted, and that voting by mail was critical to protect themselves and others from unnecessary exposure to the fatal virus that has claimed over 233,000+ lives in the USA.

So, people did.

Almost 100,000,000 people voted by mail.

100 MILLION.

That’s over 70% of the votes.

And they should all be counted.

Because all votes matter.

Because that’s what a democracy is.

And because, importantly, that’s what America is.
