공정한 선거의 실현은 민주주의의 근간이다.

지난 10.26 재 보궐 선거에서 자행된 일련의 선거 방해 공작은 투표권과 표현의 자유로 대변되는 민주주의의 본질적 가치를 심각하게 훼손하는 행위이다.

그리고 이러한 행위에 청와대 및 여당 관계자들이 연루되어 있다는 의혹은 문제의 심각성을 더욱 증폭시킨다. 따라서, 한 줌의 의혹도 남기지 않는 철저한 조사가 요구된다.

이에 외국에 거주(체류)하는 유학생들을 포함한 동포들은 더 이상 현 세태를 방관하지 않고 무너져가는 민주주의 회복을 위해 목소리를 드높일 것이다.

Last October 26, staffs of several Grand National Party lawmakers plotted a hacking attack against the National Election Commission website. They admitted that the attack was intended to block information regarding a particular mayoral candidate who was running for the mayor of Seoul. Press reports revealed that there were Cheong Wa Dae (Blue house) officials involved, while the prosecution failed to investigate further details.

1. Our constitutional right to vote has been compromised by political forces

2. Justice system failed to reveal the truth behind the DDoS attack.

Therefore, we stand up to protect the fundamental values of democracy by demanding clarification from the Administration and special investigation from the parliament.
